Ostfries, those are very nice straps! I love RF numbered items. Here are some of my Y-straps. This one is a standard late-war type marked with an RB number and dated 1944.

Here is the RB number (hard to read) and "44" date stamp.

Here is another set, this one has an unusual late-war back hook. This is also RB numbered and 1944 dated.

Thumbs up Beautiful late war Y straps,

Thanks for the compliment Chris, I found this Y strap recently on a Dutch online “auction” site, you got a couple of beautiful Y straps your self (are we really talking like this?, we starting to sound like woman), especially the last one you are shown, I’m looking for a late one in that condition, perhaps willing to sell.

Hello Chris and Meindert,
this post just to show the back of one of my M34s Tornister. Chris, on all M34 posted here, the rear/bottom strap is missing. It is very often missing. you've got a very nice collection of early/late war backpacks.... usually older pattern as M1895 (if i remember well) Tornister don't interest me that much, but i had some pleasure watching yours.
this one was produced by LOHMANN WERKE A.G - BIELEFELD - 1942
