Hi,

you're welcome.

Location of the Panther (you can see at the same place other tanks used by the French army, including a B1 bis) below.

More infos and dozen of pictures on this tanks are available here :

http://www.forum-rc-panzer.com/t5695...ES-EN-1955.htm

http://engins-blindes.leforum.eu/t28...-V-Panther.htm

Moderator ARMA51 was part of the group that freely helped to clean up the tank.

He provided a lot of infos on his message :

- a shell damaged the right mudguard during the short fight in 1944. So it was kept like the tank was found.

- the colour is like the one used originally in 1944.

- the wreck is totally empty.

- most of the metal support parts had to be replaced, same for the protective skirts.

- the episcopes from the turret commander are from a VAB T20-13 turret (20mm gun).

- the episcope from the loader is the one of a T-55 (probably captured in Irak ?).

- the tracks are not in working condition, and each is missing around 2 meters (hidden by the main body of the tank).

- the Zimmerit is... tile adhesive glue.

See You

Vince
