Default Kurbelmast Operation/Damage....

Hey guys, we got this KM20(maybe?) radio mast and are having some issues. We started extending it out and at one point, it got jammed and we had a cable snap up towards the top

In attempting to retract it, we could tell something is wrong so we took apart the crankshaft and found wires tangled, I straightened them out but now we can't figure out how to crank this back down.

The gear appears to go one direction and while there is a mechanisms that if lifted would allow it to crank backwards, we don't see any way to engage it off of the gear leading us to think that if we extend it all the way out, we can continue to crank it back down without lifting the lever. Any and all advice on repairing this and using it would be greatly appreciated.

I can only see the two last pictures so it is not entirely clear to me; it seems that the pull down wire is completely missing. I would expect to see the smaller diameter pull down wire fitted around the smaller axis....

That was my first thought too.
The pull down wire is completely missing.

If there is a bottom plate tighten with 5 or 6 screws then screw it off and take a look for a 2 or 3 mm thick wire.
It has to go up through all segments. in the upper segment there must be a spring where this wire is attached.
The spring is attached to a cover on top of the upper segment.

I have a 10m Mast. The lenght of the pull down wire is 9,65m.
I think, depending on the number and lenght of the segments from your Mast the wire has to bee much longer.... maybe 19m or more...

Tell us how many segments are there....an whats the length of them.

Hope this helps.
