Default A Pair of Very Nice Prussian Shakos that recently arrived

Hello,

Here are a couple of very nice shakos that I recently added to my collection.

First example shown is the typical Prussian Jaeger Shako.

Best Regards,

Alan

Here's the second shako I also acquired from the same source.

This example is the harder to find Guard Shako, which would have been worn by the Guard Jaeger Battalion & Guard Schutzen Batallion, Telegraph Battalion 1, Luftshiffer Battalion 1, Luftshiffer Battalion 2 (minus 3. Company), Flieger Battalion 1 (minus 3 Company), and Flieger Battalion 2-4.

It has the nice maker mark of Alexander Dahl, of Barmen inside, like the Jaeger shako does as well.

Best Regards,

Alan
