What do you mean not sure of doing what?

Anyway, this is a great example of a first pattern clasp. Probably bronze, but hard to tell if it might have been silver. My guess, bronze.

Hello,

Thank you for the positive comments guys.

I was browsing the estand the other day and saw this one. It's not a typical purchase I make so that's why I was saying I wasn't sure why I did it. I'm trying to get away from collecting zinc but I have always liked the 1st pattern sub clasp.

Yah it is definitely a bronze clasp now that I have it in hand. It has a bronze finish to it that is hard to capture with scanning the badge.

Regards,
Chris G.

Noooo...I'm sure they're all over ebay. Sometimes you need to make exceptions for some thing in this hobby. My other exceptions are numbered badges and Anti partisan badges.

I am pulling your leg. This is a great piece, hard to find, and now all you need is the first pattern silver.
