Hey Bill,
You have acquired some nice photos there, are they are from the same group?

Hi Simon,

Except for the FJ's in snow the rest are singles. Here is another single FJ photo I just picked up....FJ's with MP40's

Default Lighting in first photo

They are really nice photos. Something to be proud of having in a collection, but I am not sure about the first one. The lighting is all wrong. Photographic film and chemicals used in developing prints in the 40's didn't produce such contrasty tonality. Is it possible that it is a re-enactor photo?

Hello Munslow,

Thank you for your kind comment. I guarantee that first photo is 100% original and not a reenactor photo. Bill

I picked up a few more FJ pics. FJ's taking a break. I believe the FJ in the front middle is wearing a FG42 bandoleer...what do you think?

Great photos Bill!

I think that one FJ is wearing an early set of K98k bandoleers.....squared off pockets....and not one for a FG42. I think the photo is too early for FG42s to have been out. The K98ks all look early....with the "H" milled front bands.

Willi,

Thanks for your comment and input. They just seemed wider then the other bandoleers. Thanks again! - Bill

The following FJ pics were found in the RGG photo album that I recently purchased. I had also found the U-Boat pics of Kptn. Gunther Prien U-47 in this very same album.
