Default Removing postwar finish from wound bdge

hi - dont know if this '30 so called gold badge has radiator paint, picture frame gilt or what, but a badge wonk here says its incorrect for a '30.' would acetone or something else get it off? thanks a lot

Acetone or lacquer thinner should work. If not , try paint stripper.
