Default M42 with late shoulderboards

Hi all,

I am planning to let this jacket go. I am hoping
to get some opinions and a fair price range. The shoulder boards are late war
got them reviewed bu several people.
Let me know what you think.

Cheers,
Eric

The insignia is definitely replaced, the collar tabs seem to be very early, maybe even Reichswehr tabs and the shoulder straps are blatant fakes, I wouldn't know who would give them a thumbs up.
Putting a price tag on it is always tough, but as a sum of parts, I'd say somewhere around 900€ would be a fair price.

Thank you all for your comments. I have listed it on the facebook groups but no one seems interested. I think about asking 800 euros including shipping in europe.

Cheers,
Eric

Just out of Curiosity, what is a realistic price? 900 must be dealer prices?
I had it up for 800 but nobody is interested, I wanted to try 700 incl. shipping in Europe but someone told me that is was not wise. What do you guys think?

cheers,
Eric

Hi Eric,

Market has been a bit slow lately for uniforms, but with some luck will pick back up in the Fall as summer is often quiet. There will be limited interest because of the points already mentioned, maybe you will have some better luck soon and if you lower the price. Since you are here asking for opinions, it may be worth paying the small fee to use the WAF militaria exchange forums.

Good luck!
Steve
