Default 10th Mtn Div memorial in Colorado

Wanted to share a few pictures from a recent visit to the 10th Mountain Division memorial at Tennessee Pass in Colorado, right outside of Ski Cooper where they did a lot of their ski training.

First up is the sign on hwy 24 and the big stone markers.

Some final ones on a 4 panel display close to the road.

I didn't make it to Camp Hale this time, I stopped by a long time ago. There is not much there but a open valley.

Hello Alan,
thanks for sharing this interesting post.

I'm glad to see how the panels shows in detail the history of these mens, expecially the final battles on Riva Ridge, Monte Belvedere, Monte Della Torraccia and so others.

I live in Bologna, not so far from there, and I go often to these mountains: in the little villages around there are some panels (and few little museums) to remember the mens of the 10th Mountain Division, and that's is very important for all us!
