Default Trumpeter Bismarck 1:200

Anyone built the Revell Bismarck or Tirpitz? Is it better than Trumpeter?

Dietrich, I just caught up on this having lost touch with the thread. What a fantastic job ! Truly awe-inspiring detail.

I'm not sure my eyes are up to that level of strain these days.

Many congratulations.

Thank you very much again to all viewers. Sometimes I look at the ship and wonder how I did it!
I guess the trick is, just do it little step by step and don't rush. The HMS Hood will hopefully be of the same quality. I exspect to do a big step forward during winter time.

"...walking the planks also helps to create a "connection", something I need to have to build something with quality."

I couldn't agree more, Dietrich, and I'm not a model-maker! I visited the New Jersey a few years ago and have never forgotten that experience; quite similar to walking the route of the Putsch from the Bürgerbräukeller to the Feldherrnhalle, or walking through the rooms and the halls of the HDK, the Führerbau or the Party Administration Building on the Königsplatz! There is no substitute for actually being where history happened!
