Default Help needed with identification and value of Nazi Party Pin

Gentlemen:

I hoping that I can get some help from those who are knowledgeable on Nazi Party pins.

I bought a collection of US items from the family of a 95th Infantry Division veteran and the following pin was the in the lot. The bronze pin has black, red and while enamel. The front has a red swastika in the center. In a circular fashion in the black enamel the pin reads, "D.V.G. WESTMARK (LOTHR.)" The reverse has a pin with an open catch and is hallmarked, "W.REDO" and "SAARLAUTERN".

Could someone please tell me about the pin and give me a rough estimate of its value should I decide to sell it?

Any help would be appreciated.

Frank

If you do a search here on WAF, Frank, you should find more information about this pin and what it represented. We have seen conversation about this pin design in the past.

Cheers,

Br. James
