Default Wound Badge

This WWI wound badge was pressed into a WWII Luftwaffe photo album. That is troubling in itself, wondering if the badge is real. Thanks.

Hi. The pictures are poor but from here it looks like it may be aluminum with a copper wash which would be nice. Better pics would sure help. I think it is a good badge regardless, Ron.

I cleaned it with a toothbrush/soap and retook the pictures..

Not for me either. Definite lack of finer detail in sword handles and hilts. There are a lot like this on eBay toted as ‘genuine’ badges. Overall quality too seems poor.
