Default Need help to I.D. French Lizard Camo Bigeard Cap

Hello all,
I acquired this a few years ago not knowing its history. Can someone tell me about it? There are no markings inside. About a size 56. I would appreciate your help.

Standard to go with the French airborne 47/56 model jump smock set.

Likely 60s mfg.

I appreciate you taking the time to let me know your thoughts. Did you take a look at the visor and look at the stitching? It's different from every other picture I've seen out there. I guess my question is have you seen this before? Thanks in advance for any response.

These aren't rare pieces. It's hard to see the stitching well in pictures but overall it looks fine to me. There will be variations and some were more 'official' production and others were more 'unofficial'.

Thanks for the info, any idea what kind of value for this? I'm liking the camo so much that I think I would like to have a jacket and trousers to go with it! I only buy what I can wear as far as sizing goes. I collect camouflage uniforms now. I usually wear a medium or large regular us size and I like the large regular or even short in trousers in the US size. What is an appropriate size for the TAP that I should be looking for?I have DDR blumentarn from the 60s. I've also got a set of Belgian Congo para that I haven't seen in years among many other nations. I've got a pair of French rangers put away somewhere now already. Thanks for your advice!

For me $25-50 range.

The 47/56 set of smock and pants should be about 250 max. It's the most common. I've gotten some closer to 150.

Hey, thanks for that. Any idea on sizing I should pursue? I only ask because I know you collectors that have them know how they fit. I'm a 44 Reg 36 in waist with 30 in inseam. Thanks for your advice.
