Default M35 helmet, original color?

Evening guys,

What are your thoughts on this M35? Bought it some years ago, but I'm not so sure about the (early?) green color.
There are some number stamped into the inside of the shell, but due to the paint hard to read...

Thanks so far, guys. Sorry, a M40 indeed, due to the vent hole.

Now is it a WW2 shell or an early Bundeswehr helmet? Let's at least clear that one, shall we?
The color strikes me a bit odd as well, but the lining and chinstrap look right to me.

Cheers,

Fleck

Absolutely original Quist ww2 shell.
all components are original but it's a messed up (re assembled) helmet with postwar paint as stated.
The paint however looks old
