Default Esbit fuel tablets packs

Hey folks

Saw some interesting photos of two Esbit fuel tablets packs and they gave me a bit of a think-it-over.

On the front cover they have the different mark and logo "Der ideale Brennstoff" below the common Deutsches Patent ... DRGM and DRWZ but on the back they are marked with Made in Germany. As fair as I know there's a contradiction here because DRP means always pre-war or wartime and the back Made in Germany is postwar.

Can someone shed some light on this ? I attach for a difference by old packet which is Stuttgart marked, pre 1943 as we all know..

P.S: click on the thumbs for larger versions

Cheers

Default Made in Germany.

Made in Germany is used since the 1880's ! But on Esbit packets, i don't know.

Postwar should made in W.Germany, not Made in Germany. Made in Germany was used well before II WW, for export products.

Not neccesarily, the Daimon torches manufactured in the 50's wear the Made in Germany trademark.

Weird thing these 2 packs have some sort of Feldpost sticker on them, I'm thinking military ?

The third picture shows the carton pattern that I am most familiar with. The end panel on the left shows shows two soldiers cooking something. This pattern carton also came wrapped in a cellophane overlay. I have several of them like this.

Yeah stroh. That's the one I have and the common one we're used to. But that's not the one discussed here right now.
