Thanks in advanced

Far from an expert but those markings give me a chill...
  • It looks like it is dated 1944? But is a early type pouch?
  • The Waffenamt code looks like it was applied with a sledgehammer they are so deep.
  • The font used on the maker mark looks odd. The markings on the other loop look inconsistent...

As I say not an expert so lets see what the other guys say...

Possibly a small odd maker of these
that doesn't fall into the normal patterns of CLG ?

I see nothing that jumps out as bad.

Maybe because it is not clg but fkx. The date looks to me like 41 not 44. The waffen amt looks definately very strange.

Dangerous one!!
Imo not real. Straps are made from an old well used strap.
Green colour is strange. Like the pouch has been dyed after the construction,
Web parts look new...
Strange stampings..

If I saw this MP40 pouch for sale, I would not buy it....no matter what!
The well used leather straps, the stitching, the newer pouch material, the canvas loops, the markings.....why buy or invest in something this weird when so many really good pouches are available.

real fkx-pouches can be spoted very easily. Just take a look at the sewings at the leather straps for the belt.
