Correct; Eastern foreign volunteers to be precise.

One of my first German tunics ever acquired; a very well worn and untouched Signals Feldwebel.

The FB is void of any award loops, neat details are the period repairs and reinforced cuffs.

My FJR3 fliegerbluse (well I like to think the "3" numerals relate to FJR3 - who wouldn't!). Heavily 'pimped' walking out tunic with lined sleeves, tailored dagger opening inside, marksman lanyard button on right shoulder, plus tailor-made opening for EK1 screw-back and other award loops. The piped collar was no doubt added too. Has had private purchase eagle added, wartime I would like to think! Even the tab behind the collar has been carefully removed presumably so the collar can lie completely flat.

Not as sexy, but an honest example with nice consistent wear.

I like this one as it's a back to basics 'Plain Jane' in great condition, I suspect never worn? Used to be Adam S's and it's on the previous page of this thread!

It's a small size (84cm), since I took the pics I bought a (large) child sized torso for it!
