If you collect dress uniforms or "33" unit related uniforms it looks like a nice opportunity. Having it identified is a real bonus.

Looks fantastic like it came right out of a closet. This unit was in DAK as well.

Default PZ Wrapper tabs and boards anonamly

45 years ago a collector in Waco, Tx, turned 3 complete Pz wrappers that were brand new. Tunic and trousers. Absolutely brand new.
They did not have collar tabs or fittings for shoulder boards. They simply had the pink piping sewed on the tunic where the tabs and boards would have been.
This is the first pic I've seen with what looks like on of these ensembles being worn.
The pic was on another forum.

Magnificent display.

Interesting features are the very attractive white-outlined numerals. This highlighting was normally restricted to engineer straps.

The unit was attached to the 15. Panzer Div in North Africa. I knew a former NCO member of Art Regt 33 who was repatriated home after contracting a serious illness. Who knows, your bloke may have attended to him.

HK,

A very attractive set with a reasonably high silver content in the tresse that has given it a pleasing patina.

Good unit with a researchable Afrika connection as mentioned

BTW - those are the nicest Medical straps I've ever seen as Mike said they have the white outline that are generally only encountered on Pionier straps. Get the mannequin with it as it looks like a great display.

Happy New Year and best regards!

Bob

Hi Mike, thanks for commenting.

As I remember (and I did not look for it before answering) the original order was for both the engineers and the medical soldiers.
Anyway, I do have quite a few medical ones with the white outline.
The number "6" is born with the white outline, the number 31 have a crude applied white outline and the "42" have a really nice, later, applied outline.

Nice straps H.K.! I agree with you and also have several examples including a medical Lehr example (which you have seen). Oh, I would be remiss if I didn't tell you what a stunning grouping that is! I'm Kornblumenblau with envy.
