Question 3 pronged Vent Grommet for review

Has any one seen one like this with only 3 prongs ?

i just posted pics of a m34 that a lot of headgear guys didn't like. including grommets. seems like someone would've posted.

The M34 sidecap you have posted, despite poor pics of its grommet's crimping inside, is indeed a fake imo.

More pics of this sidecap are needed, because yes, i have already seen, even if very seldomly, original Heer sidecaps with such carateristics, ie with rivet tube 's end splited in 3 parts.
The spliting mostly give 4 or 6 parts when correctly done, but there were exceptions.

yes. several knowledgable collectors agree with you. unfortunately i have only an iPhone for a camera.

I agree with Glenn, even if eagle may be originaly applied to this sidecap.
No readable markings inside ?

There are no size or maker stamps.

I have 2 more pictures I can post. I do not have the hat in hand.
