You are right of course ! They display well but a black pair would be more accurate. Thanks for your comment

Yes, you are right Brian. I am fed up to see these binos referred as 'tropical', even in well respected dealer pages; they may think that this helps to raise the price and does not care too much about it.
It is my guess that at later stages in the war, with no German presence in Africa, the old stocks of tan paint has to be used in anything to not waste resources and materials. There are lots of SS M44 dot camo tunics printed on desert tan cloth, not longer needed after the Africa defeat, even the buttons used are tropical color.
For the mannequin in Africa, a black binos would be more appropriate IMHO

Default A Couple of pieces of Flight Clothing

Sorry, for the poor display and picture quality, using old pic taken on my old mobile, not very well presented, but thought I would help to simulate a bit of interest as the starter of the thread has hoped for.

I have equipment to add on them, but if you leave it on them for a prolong period, they impress on the clothing to much. One day in the coming year, I hope to have spare time to play dress ups and photograph(much beter quality ones of all of my uniforms/flight clothing/other LW pieces and add them to the WAF.
Also Very Nice Visors Tony.

Kind regards to All
Wayne
