Default German Zeltbahn Opinions

Hi guys,

In my collecting history ive had about 15 different Zeltbahns. 1 of which is slightly different. This concerns me and I would love help authenticating this Zeltbahn.

My problem with it, is the material and ink stamps. The others ive had have all been slightly stiff. Maybe from age - however this one in question is a much softer heavy cotton.

Also the vertical stripes just look different compared to my others.

I am wondering if this Zeltbahn is just in better condition - or possibly a reproduction.

Thank you all for the help!
William

Nothing to be worried about.
The stiffness of the others, they still have a goog amount of chemical treatment left, to make them waterproof.

Excellent example, well known producer. I like the way the punched out fabric for the big grommet is still attached.

Thank you all for helping me out!

Also thank you Sonnenwende for pointing this out to me. I did not notice the extra fabric!

Take care,
William
