Hi
Just to understand and learn, please what are the details that indicate it is a fake?

Hello Marco!

The weak point of the strap is the leather (artificially aged), the makers mark, and the numbers on both strap.

The hardware is the "best" part of the strap.....

Otherwise i feel the smell of the fresh leather

Best

To be honest; it is more likely put together from waratime unfinished parts than fake. The front part looks overall ove, except for riveting the auxilary straps .
The back strap doesn't look full right.
The markings are definately bad.

Already seen such put together straps from wartime leftovers.

Anyway; I know the seller and he wouldn't sell fake item if he would knew about it being fake. '
He might not seen this topic and he sells it .

But the mod's work here it to check and add commentary and link to the auction ( and that unfortunately failed ).
