Nice example, Ron! I have a handful of bullion SHAEF patches that are some of my favorites in my US portion of my collection.

Just for the sake of accuracy, those pictured are not SHAEF but rather United States Army Europe (USAREUR). SHAEF patches were on a black shield. USAREUR was a post WW2 organization (1947 -on) and its patches had a blue shield (like those pictured).

Hmmm, thats interesting. I was always under the impression that it was a wartime piece. If you dont mind me asking, what regulations specify that? Thank you!

I don't have any regulations to provide you. It's just a well established fact that they're post WW2 (and the two pictured are German-made).

Great patches but certainly Occupation era not wartime, there are some great variations out there!

USAREUR is a typical German Bevo Made Patch.
Somewhwere I also must have several other Styles made in Germany, even Cuban Batista Era, German made ones.
