Hi Rudy
Great numbered GAB's you have there...all S&L's!!
This is a good opportunity to compare the 2 makers, and the small details that tell them apart!!!

Default Gab

Personally, I think the GABs look better without the swastica. I don't know why. All of these examples are great!

WoW, WoW, WoW Rudy!!!

I knew you were "holding" some great badges, they are SUPER!!!!

I need to really study the S&L vs. Deumer differences with the numbered GAB, specifically the obverse side! The Eagle's wings are quite different on the GAB25/50 S&L versus the Deumer. Also, the Deumer appears to have thinner legs.

Also, the rivet locations on the reverse.

The image in the Krantz book appears to be the S&L version.

Best,

Jeff

It seems there is a few differences between ST&L and Deumer. I’m usually like the Deumers better but in this case there is more detail in the ST&L piece.

Nigel - is the hardware on my “25” the same as Jeff’s piece? I think it is.

First time seeing a Deumer piece and wondering just how many of these are out there? And why they are so scarce.

Regards
Rudy

Here is my variant I acquired in 1995, posted first time on here in 2014 so some may not have seen it...a 50 GAB on a 75/100 wreath setup, wings not voided...thoughts are during assembly some items were added in error....anyway a nice item for sure..

Wow Floyd. Forget the cut out not being done, the wings are totally different than mine.

The eagle on the earlier badge is showing quite a few flaws, it looks like, by the time Floyd's badge was made, they had switched to a different die, the original die must have become too flawed to work with??

Yeah, mine matches the 100 badge eagle in the posts, but not your 50 eagle with the oval wreath...a couple variances....as Nigel says, makes things interesting for sure...!!
