Yes, thats why I asked if the shield is considered an original amongst collectors.
The head and the feet are so different.

But it is produced the right way. Its dye struck and sheared.
Everything production wise checks out IMO.
Its just like all the other originals I have checked out with the scope.
For me that is the best method to determine originals from fakes.

But I am not going to debate on this shield or any other award. I have done that with the Meadicke and will not invest time like that again hehe.. very timeconsuming and a thankless job.

I dont have a full scan of the reverse without the backing, only microimages. I did not bother, saw all I needed to see and closed it up again.

Unfortunately I do not know as this type of a shield admits around the world.
Possibly it is not the say important fact, but in Russia serious collectors of awards to themselves in a collection do not buy this type of the shield Krim.
