Default Police Visor! Help, please!!!!

Hello Gent's

I need your help with this hat.
It is of very high quality.
The chin cord has a nice, dark patina.
The visor has slight signs of wear.
I hope it is an original.

Thank you for your help!

Greetings

Dirk

Ground up fake.
Only thing real on it is the eagle, but that is probably a standard Officer that was painted gold postwar.

BTW, the last REAL Po-General I saw for sale went for $20,000 at the SOS 2 years ago.

Absolutely no quality to it which is what you would expect to see for a Police Generals visor cap plus i'd expect to see a top maker's name on the sweat shield...

Its very cheezy on the inside.... downright cringeworthy. The overlapped sweatband with plastic beading, the plasticky looking trapezoid and the orange oilcloth top panel just blow the deal.

Robt.

Hallo dirk

No way:

There was a postwar prolific maker Johannes Heinrich, but in Langen and not in Berlin.

Best regards
