Default 3 police eagles for 2nd opinions

Hi Guys,

I would very much welcome some 2nd opinions on these three eagles:

Eagle 1 Bullion officer eagle (IMO very nice)

Eagle 2 Schupo eagle (aggressive looking bird)

Eagle 3 Schupo eagle (the fat pigeon)

Thanks in advance.

Cheers, Tom

The two SchuPo perfectly fine to me. I am NOT a fan of the black thread around the eye on the officer's , nor the little loops on the acorns. In the past these have been indicative of post war manufacture. The remainder of the insignia is quite nice so I am just not sure. These could be manufacture variations, just unusual traits, or it could be an over enthusiastic forgery. These officer's insignia are sometimes incredibly difficult, at least for me.

The two green Schupo eagles are also fine to me. This particular officer eagle has been posted a time or two in the past and opinions vary. To me, I'm thinking period, and if the search feature would work a little better I could find the past discussion thread with my posted points and other examples. I've also had one in hand and I have to say it was really well constructed.

Thank you Bill and Dave!

Now the question remains: how to authenticate these bullion eagles? I love bullion insignia (my first piece of militaria was a bullion police eagle) however at the moment I have none in my collection due to fears of acquiring reproductions.

Please also have a look at my post in the pinned thread on fake eagles.
