The first stein was given by reason of the Kaisermanöver 1905 in the Taunus area (Bad Homburg)

Here a short despription, sorry in German:

Kaiser-Manöver bei Homburg vor der Höhe, 7. September 1905

"Nach 1883 und 1897 findet bei Homburg vor der Höhe zum dritten Mal ein Kaiser-Manöver statt. Das in Gegenwart des preußischen Königs und dritten deutschen Kaisers Wilhelm II. (1859-1941) durchgeführte Armeemanöver umfasst neben den militärischen Übungen auch eine "Kaiserparade" der beiden teilnehmenden Armeekorps. Veranstaltungsort der großen Abschlussparade sind die Felder und Flure zwischen Nieder-Eschbach und Nieder-Erlenbach.

Großmanöver im Umland der kaiserlicher Sommerresidenz


Anlässlich des Manövers überquert der Kaiser am Eröffnungstag, den 7. September (ein Donnerstag), die kurz zuvor fertiggestellte Altstadtbrücke in Homburg mit einem Automobil und äußert bei einem festlichen Diner am 9. September seine Verbundenheit mit der Stadt und ihren Bewohnern ("Ich darf wohl sagen, dass ich das Gefühl habe, hier unter Bekannten zu sein, und dass Homburg und Homburgs Bevölkerung sich gewissermaßen zu unserer Familie rechnen"1). Insgesamt befinden sich etwa 70.000 bis 80.000 Soldaten und rund 20.000 Pferde in der Umgebung der international als Kurbad und für seine Spielbank bekannten Stadt, deren Schloss seit Mitte der 1890er-Jahre auch Sommerresidenz des Kaisers ist. Die Truppen nehmen Aufstellung zu Scheingefechten und sind in zwei gegnerische Lager eingeteilt, die "Roten" und die "Blauen", die sich jeweils an der entsprechenden Farbe einer um den Helm geschlungenen Binde unterscheiden. Das Kaisermanöver endet am 10. September 1905."

I agree, the second one is a type that I have never seen before too. All 3 steins are nice, original, in excellent condition and worth having in anyone's collection
