Hello, i'm glad to share this scan from an original picture (8cmx6cm). It shows an attempt to transform this big MG to a "light" AA tripod version. I can't date this little picture but it is surely a pre-war situation. All the bst!

Yes ECHOFIX you are right, inter-war sled AA extension. The uniforms of cse help to identify period but the AA pole is a great piece of kit and well designed. Looks amazing too!! Please note though that this is the MG08/15 thread and you will see more MG08 in the MG08 section/posts.

of course all images deactivated with inert ammo where seen. Details of capture history unknown sadly but interesting that it has been pained unknown! Not sure if anybody knows of one central master record of WWI UK War Trophy items? The Canadian War Trophy Record and Distribution 'history' still exists .
