Number 2 is a fake with a good eagle. I own a clothed bill visor and is definitely different. Although variations do exist depending on the manufacturer.

thank You Vince !

Until family resolves the way they are willing to split this collection - I wont have access to better pictures I am afraid. I know there is also cases of medals, badges, patches and also helmets and other uniforms.
As a friend of one of the siblings I offered to catalog, photograph and sale the collection piece by piece so then they can evenly split the lump sum.
I believe that would be pretty good solution for them, most fair for sure.... but its up to siblings to make decision and it may take days.. or weeks

Hallo Michael

In my humble opinion the SS "visors" nos. 02 & 03 are not good

The Heer visors no. 11 & 12 seems to me good ones

With regards to the other headgears they are out my field of experience.

Best regards

With that Pictures its simple a guessing Game. The Camo is crap, the Dresstunic good...and for the Rest...just get better Pictures or you will never get any good Answer.

Short of better photos or the kind of eyesight AnitiqueWW2 is clearly blessed with you are stuck with what you have …

The camo cap insignia application and colour look really realistic to me as does the cap material … Owen and the guys know their camouflage material and cap construction ... I don't.

The side cap insignia is original, no doubt at all. I cannot comment on the cap.

That's where I am.

Ian.

My Eyesight is not that bad. And when that Camo Hat is good, then my Cattles will all know to fly a 747 tomorrow. A real one with Insignias looks a bit different

The Infanterie Geschönte Feldbluse and the two Heer visors look fine from the pics provided. The SS Erel and the cloth visored SS cap are common repros, and I suspect most of the SS stuff is crap. Can't tell on the LW cap or the NSKK from the pics. I hope the guy didn't get bent over too bad on some of this stuff - if the family thinks everything is worth a fortune, nothing is going to change their minds, especially of the previous owner has been telling them it is all real for decades. I am getting a real N&T Global/Norbert Graetz vibe from the whole thing.

S M has had rolls of correct Green - Tan Eagles - skulls over the years.
They also have damaged zelts.
In all fairness they make items for reenactors who want something better.
They are NOT on the Lorenzo level made to actually fool collectors.
The Cammo cap follows SM automatic sewing machine traits.
The Eagle Skull may have originated from the UK dealer Richard Underwood.

Wow I like the Camo cap with insignia and the DAK cap (at first glance...) and SS M43 cap and side cap.
Visors not of course. Heer items are OK. Can't comment on NSKK para military!
Certainly some gems in this collection!

The first hat is a Wolfram Diebale fake I saw many just like that one in his shop in Pennsburg west Germany back in the late 70's.

For combat arms guys, the infantry tunic is quite nice. For sheer rarity, the brown and green eagles and skulls are very tough to find, and have been for years. Based on the initial photos, I'd say the camo cap insignia stands a very good chance of being real.

Lots of bad stuff worked it's way into this collection, sad to say.
