How about the missing MG13 spanner pocket missing and the cut-off for the MG42 AA sight, being the pouch produced in 1940?

I also have one question regarding this piece of equipment:

How often were the ruptured cartridge remover clips mounted under the lid of the MG Tasche? How many makers were putting them there?

I`ve seen only one example, but only with holes in the lid after the clips were removed.

AFAIK they didn't mount clips for the cartridge remover but for the caliper in a bakelite case. Can you show some pics of the pouch you mention?

Looking at it now I`m even not sure if it is original. Marked "bdt43":

This clips are quite common on modern repros:

Is it fantasy adding?

I am going to follow this thread closely as I would be really surprised if this pouch turns out to be a mock-up

Witam Kiler,

Your's looks like a German one refurbished in Norway post war. Please start a new thread, so we can study it well. Some not too clever repro producer have copied post war Norwegian ones , not original WWII ones

Well, I cannot confirm nor deny the OP pouch is original or not, without a close inspection. It certainly looks good at first sight but those two or three "curious" features keep me wondering. Please see a comparison of several Franz Brehme, Walsrode stamps I have found around the internet, to the one posted above. Seems the firm still exists (since 1825):

Can you see a basic difference in the pics

Meg106 is right....I've never seen any variation in the Franz Brehme logo, including those in my collection. It's always seen with an "arc" for the name, and the location "Walsrode" straight. The pouch seems original, but maybe has been "enhanced" with a fake logo.

Ref: Mid-war "Franz Brehme, Walsrode 1942" from my Y-straps.
