Yes, you need a special triangular key to open it, electricity and postal technicians still use them to open roadside boxes...

Forgot to mention: The phone was removed from the bunker may 1945 of the seller himself 10 years at the time. The phone was used daily on the contryside in the late 40 to the 60'. Untuched item!

There was a volume privately published in Germany a few years back, mostly compiled from various "Dienstvorschriften". I think it must be out of print now, I have not seen it for a long time.
