Default Bunker telephone??

Guys, I have a question on behalf of a friend of mine.
It's not really my collecting field, so I thought maybe somebody here can help us out.
It looks like a German bunker telephone, but we are not sure. The date on the makers plate is 1942 and the telephone itself is made by Siemens.

So, does someone knows this type of telephone and where was it used?
Help appreciated.

Hi Franšois B.,

Write here the "Typ" string that is on the type shield. It cannot be read from the photo.

Hi Val,

Sorry for the blurry pics. The pics were not made by me..

The code on the shield, typ 11FGWAST161A according my friend. I'm not sure if they are all capital letters.

Hello,

It is definetly not a bunker phone, but I think it is a good KM phone for boats.

Regards

It is not strictly a phone, it is a mouthpiece for a public address system, I agree probably mounted on the bridge of a ship.

regards,
