I have done some basic research, but have not been able to identify this unit. Any assistance would be appreciated.

A KM Minesweeper unit ?
Looks german but it could be also some european unit period ?
A french unit badge using Disney cartoons symbol ...

Yes looks very similar !
Only the form is then different but the symbolic is the same !
