IMO a nice Schauerte & Hoehfeld, Luedenscheid and indeed a WW2 Production

Yes, frame is typical WW2 Schauerte & Hohfeld, but this core we also meet in crosses with another WW2 frame.

Perhaps the reason is, that both companies (Schauerte&Hohfeld and Linden) were based in Ludenscheid.

Did some little research and noticed there are small differences in the crowns of those, so called closed 4 crosses.... This is still in a stage of research, so please shoot on it?

Looking good! S&H and FLL look very similar IMO. Both sheet stamped if I am not mistaken.

You are right, they look similar, but take a close look to the crowns on both crosses, from pictures from a FLL cataloque I found! It may be that the die was worn out but than you must find this also on S&H pieces. But just what I sayed before there is enough to discover and everybody can shoot on it.
