Default How do you mount your rifles on the wall?

I have a gewehr 98 I want to display on a wall. I'm curious to see pictures of how some of you mount yours on a wall.

Mine is an old, simple gun rack that was in a local barber shop that went out of business, and the building demolished.....Just made of two vertical boards (like 2 x 4's), than simply attached to two or three horizontal boards....Than wooden dowel pegs about 1/2" diameter drilled and hammered at a slight angle into the two vertical boards at the same height....The pegs used to rest the rifle on....Multiple pegs for multiple rifles....Works great and is simple.....Bodes

I bought these from an ad in the American Rifleman years ago. I liked them as they were non obtrusive, and could be mounted in a vaariety of ways.

Put some really long wood screws through the stock, just make sure there’s solid wood behind the drywall... a stud or something. Kidding of course - please don’t do that. Believe it or not I have seen it done....
