It is in bargain price territory, and I am surprised as well.

Could be the condition and the fact that it is a contract cap (most seem to want high-peaked private-purchase).
Also, the missing finish to the chinstrap might be a reason.

I do not see any extra holes in the hat from the eagle being moved up.

I forgot to mention that it is a small size, which puts off a lot of collectors, as it won't fit on most mannequin heads.

It’s not as if little Germans were less brave than big Germans . In fact I have always found smaller guys to be more aggressive ! I agree it’s a nice cap. Rob

The size 53 would be my guess.

Visual presentation of any sz 53 is absurd.... some regard as salesmens samples LOL. My first trop visor fieldcap was a 53 and although right as rain I still hated it.

Sold within the US only. That limits the market quite a lot. Could've been sold already if sold worldwide.

Well, I have added this to my collection. Even if it is a tiny cap, it is a unit with a rich history dating back to the Kaisers.

The biggest joke, buying from Europe , but selling US only ..

Guy tried to buy from me, but I couldn't buy from him .., sneeky ..

I have respect for them though, but then keep focused on US only only.

Maybe 2 new sections on E-stand, US and Europe only, why not ?

I've never understood why some sales are US only, although I understand that some sellers avoid some countries due to bad postal experiences. I don't think there are more problems with EU postal services than US ones.

"US sales only" sounds like a discrimination
I understand that some fellows outside USA are not always correct, but are all the americans honest as well? There are many members from the old continent that are moderators or have 3000+ posts and have been here for a decade.
There can be the matter of the shipping charges, but if these are ok for the buyer, where is the problem?
When I'll put my stuff on the E-stand, I will be tempted to ask for EU sales only...

Sellers have the right to sell to whomever they choose to. That should be respected. If you don't like it don't buy from them. Why don't other respect eachother any more ?
