Kev,
Nothing written on the reverse of the portrait photo. Many Gebirgsjaegers in the photo and several of them wounded....I think maybe they are all from a local Military Hospital. Cave is located in Ruebeland, Harz Mountain region in Northern Germany. There were several units located in around the region...188 Gebj Div, Gebj Regt 136, Nienhagen, Gebj Lehr Batl and Gebj Komp 372, Halberstadt/Harz
