Default Help ID-ing a couple of helmets please.

These "stray's" have wandered into my collection over the years and I have no idea how or why I even have them! Please help me ID them so that I can get a ball park value and move them on at a bargain to someone who would actually appreciate them.
The first is, I believe, a post WWII Spanish helmet in the German WWII style. The second is a flat exterior British Brodie style but is larger in size than the typical British helmet.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Brian,

The first helmet is post-war West German. It was originally gray and made for the Berlin police. The "LS" motif stands for the manufacturer, Linnemann and Schnetzer. They were made in the late 1950s and early 1960s. You could find out a lot more about this lid by posting the pictures or a link to the Bundeswehr, West German forum on this site.

I don't recognize the second helmet at all. It looks like a militarized U.S. Civil Defense helmet. Interesting.

All the best,
TJ

Thank you TJ. I believe that the second helmet I posted is not military at all and possibly a mine safety helmet? Still not sure, but don't believe that it is military in nature. Appreciate the ID on the German helmet. Confirms what a couple others have stated and it is now on to a new home at a good price! Thanks again for the response!
Brian
