Just the right amount of wear, and field upgrade to Oberfeldwebel,
and M44 type too!

Nice straps; they appear to have had the tress painstakingly hand applied.

I fell in love with as soon I saw them. recently I started with panzer and panzerjäger items and they are my first pair of very late war straps.

thanks everybody to confirm my thoughts about.

It looks like someone had the necessary skills to apply it. Some of them (and many fakes) look like a train derailment the way it is bunched up. You will also see it applied with a space between the outside edge of the tress and inside edge of the piping. There was an interesting tunic, with this feature, on a dealer's site recently. It looked to be a Kompanie Schneider made piece. The straps were sew-in for a Panzergrenadier Feldwebel with an "L" cypher. I only saw it once; sold quickly.
