Nice to see a well used CXB 4 with clear stampings for a change. Still puzzled by why this company used capital letters.

I would not pay 100 Euros for one in this condition myself though.

Regards

What you have there is a wartime P38 break-away holster made by "CXB", which is Joseph Moll, Goch, in pebble grain leather. Made in 1944.

These can be found in un-issued condition (Russian Captures), however this one is a true war horse! It has been well used.
Looks like it's been worn hard and put away wet.

I don't think anyone will pay 100 euros for this one, but there are collectors out there who prefer holsters with "character.'

Sonnenwende, the maker "jWa" used both capital and lower case letters on their holsters! Also "DLU" used capital on some, and "dlu" lower case on others. Don't know why though?

Matt
