Default Krypto modifizert field telephone

I hope it's ok to ask this question here. I recently got a German post-War field phone that is pretty much based around an FF33 but I need instructions for its use. It has a dialer which the handset attaches to and then it attaches to the commo wire attachment posts on the phone. Another plug from the dialer plugs into the phone box.The case is similar to the post-War version of the FF33 also. A manual would be great even if it's in German. Any info on it would certainly help. The dialed spins and clicks like it should but there is a secondary springing action sound inside it that doesn't sound quite right. Thanks to all!!!

Thank you ROB69. I do think my phone is an FF54 and there is also a picture on the site you posted of the dialer. I think it is WÄHLZUSATZ FÜR FELDFERNSPRECHER in German. I just need operating instructions now!

Hi Bilbo42,

yes you have a FF 54. But a modified Piece, it can use normal or with the Crypto Zusatz. This is not the usual Wählzusatz, it is a specific Piece for to cypher the signal. To get a manual for this Piece is very very difficult. But if you want I can ask some Collectors, perhaps some have one.

Gruß

Roger
