It has neither grommets nor buttons (it might not have been finished).

Nice Zelts, especially the 1933 Jöring one. (there are even earlier Jöring Zelts out there though).
Can't help with the additional marking on the Weck Zelt. Can't make out enough letters to be able to judge what it could be.

Thanks for the feedback guys
The 1938 dated Weck has a stamp with two words the second one being something like "Dum..."

Hi Edwin, Tom,

Did you think it´s a fadded grey, grey, or a fadded dark green?

I have one with the same "grey" color, a m44, and another zelt "on the way", also m44 with bakelite buttons...

Any clue? I think there should be a good reason for this variant, Germans had a reason for every detail.

Well, looking for zelts info is why I am here on this great forum. My TR collection started accidentally with zelts many years ago, so, I am chasing this little mistery...

Best regards...

Typically there is small edging in off-white in the pattern. Sometimes there is a Winter White Camo side on the later issue.

Cheers

No there isn`t. Those are postwar.

M31 Zeltbahnen made of italian camo fabric late war were unprinted on one side, because the fabric was unprinted on that side, but no "Winter White Camo".

To keep this thread in good memory I want to give a
peek on this acquisition I made in the last hours of 2017.
I wish all you zelt lovers a happy new year and many variations to come.

Cheers,
Marco
