Default Verteilerkasten Batterie Mitte

Well,

Found the exact name of the box: Verteilerkasten Batterie Mitte. In a doc describing the electrical system of the 10,5cm Flak gun. No further details unfortunately, as it is part of the Ubertragungs system, not of the electrical system.

Back to the 10 pins round connector, here are pics of the three models I have. Still looking for the female plug. Could not even find any picture of it.
Any info welcome.

Male plug:

Default trommel with Ubertragungleitung37

Hello,

In addition to the Verteiler, here is the Trommel with Ubertragungsleitung37.
The cable is originally about 50m long. This one is only 10m and a replacement.
I'm still looking for a second connector to complete it.

These drums were transported on the Flak carriages and the cable connected the gun to the Verteilerkasten to receive direction data from the Kommandogerat.

Cheers

Hello,

Here is the flak 88/37 side of the Ubertragungsgerät 37 connectivity.
The 46 pins connector is for the verteilerkasten, the 10 pins round is for the backup voice system (or use with the Kommandohilfsgerät) , the 14 pins use is not identified yet.

Default Testing the Feuerglöcke

Testing the Feuerglocke.
The firing bell was located on the Flak gun. It was used to give the go fire or other instructions.
It could be activated from the Kommandogerät, from the Verteilerkasten or from the Fernsprechgerät fur Kommandozwecke.
I used obviously the Verteilerkasten 12V sammler connection to provide the needed DC voltage for the bell.
Ubertragungsleitung 37b is connecting Geschütz IV to the Flak gun Anschlusskaten.
The firing bell circuit uses both pins 23 (ground) and 5 (12v neg).
The connector next to the 12v sammler is used to close the circuit and activate the bell.

I unfortunately cannot let you enjoy the sweet sound of the little bell

Default Renkstecker 24 HS bakelit

Hello Folks,

Latest addition to Flak connectors: the 24HS renkstecker bakelite model. Quite well preserved for a dug out. The cover was still locked on it and preserved the pins from rust. Picture with the 46HS connector added for size comparison.
Bakelite part is marked "blb" and dated 1942. Metal frame is marked "MAHLE".

Cheers

Default 10 pins female connector

Hello folks,

Finally got an example of the female 10 pins round connector.
Unfortunately, this one is in bad shape. But at least I know what to look for.

This type of plug was used for telephony connection to Flak guns.
Last pictures have the male connector alongside.

Hello folks,
New addition to the Flak communications: Drosselkastens Batterie-Mitte, part of Sprechgerät für Kommandozwecke. This heavy box (same molded metal as panzer umformers) allows audio connections between Kommando Hilfsgerät , Entfernungsmesser, Verteilerkasten Batterie-Mitte and up to 6 guns. Was used as a backup system should the main Kommandogerät fail or not available.

The device is fed from a 12v battery as show below from a period picture.
You see the Verteiler Kasten with cables going to the guns on the right and to the Drosselkasten on the left.
The Drosselkasten is probably linked to a Kdo Hilfsgerät on the left.

And the big Aus-Ein switch powers up the device. Inside is only cabling, self and capacitors. No active device.
