Thanks for the additional intel Piotr, really like your zinc Sturm ID. You have an outstanding collecting of discs.

Reiner, I can contribute to your Wittstock School post. Here is mine: Staff, Fallschirmschule II, Wittstock. And also without blood type.

Interesting tags, here is one I just found for Fallschirm-Aufklärungs-Abteilung 12 , ending up as a POW in early 45

Good tag 217351. I have in the collection EKM Fallschirm-Aufklarungs-Abteilung 12 - 1. Jäger-Kompanie -217352.146- stahl, which has the same print characters. Unfortunately, the forum does not let me post the photo.

I have never seen an ID tag associated with its POW envellope like this before. Very interesting. Was this kept by the veteran, or did it somehow come out of a hoard in the US when the POW camp archives were destroyed?
