i didnt think m44 tunics had collar hooks... this one has. isnt the woman's service blouse shown here similar to an m44 tunic, but actually a thing in itself. buttons on the other side, etc, ie a different garment?

i wonder if anyone can post SS soldiers with m44 tunics,i know only abaut realy very very few photos,and only from books.

Probably an M-43 with the collar pressed open. The M-44 has a noticeably larger collar than the M-43, and as has been mentioned, is made without collar hooks which the tunic in your photo has.

For the life of me I can't remember where? but there is a photo of an SS I think officer after capture speaking to his British captors, perhaps after liberation of a concentration camp?
I will post the photo if I can find it?

thanks for clear reference on differences in ladies 'm44' jacket/wool blouse. it falls in line behind proper m44 combat tunic, and hj winter feldbluse...

...of note too, all these m44 tunic pics seem to show matching m44 combat trousers in use. seems all were issued with 'complete' set.
