At first IL-2 had no radio at all, only from 1942 they started to install РСИ-4, transmitter/receiver to squad leader (commanders) planes and only the receiver to the all other planes. When war reached to the end, ordinary planes have also transmitter/receiver as a standard setup and some of the planes already had the new РСИ-6 transmitter/receiver setup installed.

Here's the transmitter of the РСИ-4 setup

Here's the receiver of the РСИ-4 setup.

Hi,

First image on the right is most certainly one of the many modifications of the РСИ-4 receiver.

I hope it is ok to re-open this old thread but the radio used in the Il-2 is interesting to me. Recently I received a radio taken from a crashed plane, said to be an Il-2 found in northern Poland. After trying to go in-depth on radios used in this specific plane I got stuck. Until I found this thread about the two types of radios being used....which is a different than I have. So my question is: to which plane could this radio belong? Or was it indeed also used in Il-2?

The one I have is the exact same as this:
https://retrotexnika.ru/ordzhonekidz...cziya-a-7.html

Thanks a lot in advance!!!
