Default Opinions & Information Please - Japanese Sword

I like Japanese swords. Problem is I know little about them and their value as they are outside my area and expertise of collecting. That being said, I would like to add a nice one to my collection in the future.

Can anyone on give me some information and a rough value for this sword?

Thank You In Advance!

Default Japanese Sword

Im thinking China or Pakistan on this one, they are trying harder and harder to rip off the novice collectors, but this one has no chance in my opinion. Blade missing several characteristics particularly the tip and the scabbard fittings dont even have screws where they should be. I would not buy this one if it came into the shows.

It looks good to me. Dated Showa 18. Signed Nobu?mitsu.

This is not in very good condition and I would recommend passing and waiting for a better one.

It’s legit, no idea why it got stained blackish. Oct 1943. Good factory stamps on the kabutogane.

$500-900 range.
