Default Nashorn restoration

Hello,

About a year ago some of my friends here in the Netherlands acquired a Nashorn Chassis and started a restoration. Prior to this they have restored many pieces such as Opel Maultiers, a Sherman tank and many many other vehicles. I'd say they made a awesome progress.

They have found a lot of pieces and those that could not be found where carefully handmade. Can say, these guys are quite handy and resourceful.

You can follow the restoration live on Facebook, here: https://www.facebook.com/pg/Nashorn.....restauration/

There is only one part they have not managed to locate as of yet. A correct PAK 8.8 43 1 barrel.

Anyone on here perhaps who might know of one?

Best Regards,

Frederik

Hello Jon, Why is it a shame? I think it's a great way to follow the process of a insane project!

Best Regards,

Frederik

Because contrary to popular opinion there is a significant population not on 'social media'. Posting links is lazy and has been shown repeatedly to result in useless threads when the link no longer works.

That said it is a brilliant project

The Nashhorn along with Marder II and IIIs are among my all-time favorite armored vehicles. Jim

Basically as Seigfried stated, not every one likes social media. I have tried several times to use it but every time it drives me insane, makes me depressed and I feel like throwing the computer through the window. From the little time that I have spent on it, I thimk 99.9999999% of what's on there is complete Bo****ks.

This such a fantastic project why not post it on here and share it with people who really appreciate what you are doing.

Keep up the good work.

That's better now we can see what you are doing.
Nice work and look at the size of that suspension arm.
