So Panther C hook weighs 27kg (26.9) and Tiger's weighs 29Kg. (29.1). I'll take note, thanks.
The differences between crowbars is also interesting.

Hi !
I measured my two C-hooks and they are 90mm wide. Sorry I don't have a weighting machine ( new technology scales is crap that doesn't last for more than 7 years and the 40 year old one is... too old ).

The differences can be explained by different molds.

Eric ( who can't take one week for showing his panzer tools )

Oh!, thanks for the correction. As Eric mentioned a difference between Panther and Tiger hooks, and the pics showed different widths and weights...I took for granted they would be for different vehicles. 2 kg is not a minor difference, though, for both being the same. PzKpfw III/IV C hooks weigh about 12 kg.

Default C-hook for Panther and C-hook for Tiger I

Yes, hooks can be the same, but the German people are very pedantic and the difference in weight «Panther» - «Tiger» is 5-10 tons, this can be compensated by the volume (2 kg) of hooks.
We can not know this without having a special original documentation for the production of hooks.
No one can say that he knows it!

Do you mean then that Panther and Tiger hooks are different? Weighing different?

Yes, the hooks that I found, the weight and size are different, I found them together, in that place, dismantled for the destruction of two metal panzer - a panther and a tiger. this is established by other details, there also found.

I showed the difference-size and weight. About the rest, we can only guess!
